Submitting your forms for filing
- Submit all forms required for your specific situation.
- Complete all required fields on each form.
- If handwriting, print legibly using blue or black ink.
- Sign and date the forms where required.
- Each person requesting a fee waiver must file their own request.
- You may file by eFiling. If your eFiled documents are accepted, filed-stamped documents are available to download for 30 days in the eFiling portal under Filing History. After 30 days, you can use the Superior Court of CA – County of San Joaquin Public Portal or contact Records Management.
- If filing in person or by mail, submit the original plus one set of copies for your records. Include a self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE) with enough postage if you want copies returned by mail. If you do not include a SASE, copies may be placed in the pick-up cabinet at the Security Desk in Stockton. Documents not picked up within 30 days may be destroyed.
